Hartzler's Quality Housing in 2005 |
How It All Began...
Hartzler's Quality Housing, Inc. is a family-owned
business whose management and sales staff has over
100 years combined experience in the modular and
manufactured housing industry.
Ed Hartzler opened the doors to Hartzler's Quality
Housing in 1978. Before starting his business, Ed
worked for several years at the Skyline manufacturing
plant in Sugarcreek, Ohio. He started his company
with just one part-time employee. The company
now employs 20 people.
In January of 2000, Hartzler's Quality Housing moved
half a mile up the road to its present location
situated alongside Interstate 77. The beautifully
landscaped display center showcases 20 homes in
various floorplans. Sidewalks lead customers door to
door to each home, and prices are displayed inside
each home for customer convenience. From the
beginning, Ed had a relaxed approach to sales:
Customers are greeted by our friendly staff as they
enter the office, and with a map of the display center
and pen in hand, they are encouraged to walk through
the homes at their own pace. At a customer's request,
our housing consultants will be glad to join them to
answer any questions they may have while touring the
homes. Otherwise, just stop in the office and our
housing consultants will provide floorplans and answer
questions before they leave.
We are a member of the Ohio Manufactured Homes Association.
